Tuition covers admission to the program and provides access to digital copies of some
required texts. Some texts will need to be purchased separately though the cost is not
prohibitive.
The Ministry Apprenticeship is not accredited, however, the training you receive can be
applied toward the process of ordination in the Wesleyan Church

We place an extremely high value on culture. One of the strengths of the MAP is that
students will be embedded in the culture of Kings Church. If you are located near one of
our Kings Church locations throughout Atlantic Canada, then participating in the
instruction online while serving at one of these locations is entirely possible. If you
are interested in the Ministry Apprenticeship Program and do not attend Kings Church,
please let us know! Accommodation can be made if your church aligns with our vision and
values!
1) The Ministerial Licensing Track is the most intense, and is designed for those who wish to pursue leadership at Kings Church, and be licensed with the Wesleyan Church. This is an 8-month intensive and has a heavier homework load than the Discipleship Track.
2) The Discipleship Track is for those who are involved in the Church and want to grow as disciples, but are not pursuing licensing with the Wesleyan Church. The key difference in this track is that the homework load is lighter than option one.
3) The Self-Paced Track is for those who wish to stretch classes out over a longer period of time. This student would register for classes individually. Though more relaxed, this track costs more since the student is paying for each class individually. All MAP classes are available on an individual basis to anyone who wants to apply.
